The route begins and ends in Sarajevo, moving through Bosnia’s historic centres, the Montenegrin coast and the Muslim heritage of Sandžak.

    Day 1

    Guest welcome, hotel check-in and orientation. Optional introductory Sarajevo walk if arrival time permits.

    Day 2

    Ahmići Memorial; Travnik Painted Mosque, Elči Ibrahim-paša Madrasa, fortress or Plava Voda.

    Day 3

    Potočari Memorial Cemetery and former UN compound; exhibitions and historical interpretation; Srebrenica town centre and White Mosque.

    Day 4

    Konjic Old Bridge; brief Jablanica stop; Blagaj Tekke; Mostar Old Bridge, bazaar, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and/or Karađoz Bey Mosque.

    Day 5

    Počitelj; Stolac’s Sultan Selim Mosque and Begovina; Trebinje’s Arslanagića Bridge and/or Osman-paša Mosque; continue to the Bay of Kotor.

    Day 6

    Morning walking tour of Kotor; Old Bar’s Ottoman quarter; Ulcinj Old Town, Sailors’ Mosque and/or Pasha’s Mosque; evening transfer to Podgorica. Budva becomes an optional panoramic stop only.

    Day 7

    Podgorica’s Stara Varoš, Clock Tower, Starodoganjska and/or Osmanagić mosques; travel through northeastern Montenegro via Kolašin, Berane and Rožaje; cross into Serbia and continue to Novi Pazar.

    Day 8

    Novi Pazar: fortress; Old Bazaar and/or Altun-Alem Mosque; Isa-beg Hamam and Amir-agin Han; afternoon transfer to Sjenica; Sultan Valide Mosque and Pešter Plateau panorama.

    Day 9

    Accessible Uvac viewpoint, subject to weather and road conditions; continue through Prijepolje and Priboj, cross at Uvac and return to Sarajevo.

    Hotel check-out and a warm farewell as your Balkan heritage journey comes to an end.
